Chris Brokate 

Born and raised in Southern California, and growing up with three older brothers, I helped my father with his Real Estate business/property management company. Prior to moving to Ecuador in 2021, I lived in the mountains of northern California for 30 years. On the Russian River, I created a program to remove trash from the environment called the “Clean River Alliance.” 

In July 2021, I relocated from the Russian River to help my brother Gerald Brokate with his business, “Ecuador Properties” until his passing in October 2023. 

My new group here in Ecuador “Yo Amo Mi Playa Limpia” has a mission to remove the trash from the environment and educate the public about sea turtles and Zero Waste.
